1. Siege of Bursa1317 CE
   The Siege of Bursa took place from 1317 until the capture of Bursa on 6 April 1326, when the Ottoman Turks deployed a bold plan to seize the city, which was back then known as Prusa. The Ottomans had not captured a city before; the lack of expertise and adequate siege equipment at this stage of the war meant that the city fell only after six or nine years.
2. Siege of Nicaea1328 CE
   The Siege of Nicaea, or Siege of Iznik, by the forces of Orhan I from 1328 to 1331, resulted in the conquest of the key Byzantine city of Nicaea to the Ottomans. It played an important role in the expansion of the Ottoman Empire.
3. Battle of Pelekanon1329 CE
   The Battle of Pelekanon, also known by its Latinised form Battle of Pelecanum, occurred on June 10–11, 1329 between an expeditionary force by the Byzantines led by Andronikos IIl and an Ottoman army led by Orhan I. The Byzantine army was defeated, with no further attempt made at relieving the cities in Anatolia under Ottoman siege.
4. Siege of Nicomedia1333 CE
   The Siege of Nicomedia, or Siege of Izmit, took place from 1333 until 1337, when Orhan sieged the city of Nicomedia. The Byzantine garrison surrendered due to lack of food and resources. Orhan's victory sealed Ottoman control of Bithynia.
